Ainon Baptist Church is an independent community based fellowship on the outskirts of Cardiff. We were first established 180 years ago with our first meeting place being the Lewis Arms.
We are a seeker-friendly, welcoming church. We are a group of around 80 adults and 30 Children and Youth coming from Tongwynlais and the surrounding areas. We all have a love for our communities and the Ainon fellowship.
Salt and Light – Matthew 5:13-16
“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
The Bible tells us God is love and we are to be like Him, loving all people in the hope that all will be saved. Therefore we are committed to serving our community, sharing good news and building relationships. We believe this is being Salt and Light.
