Welcome! Whether you have just moved to the area, have lived here all of your life or are just passing through. We hope our website helps you get to know us a little before you stop by to visit us.
Some Key information about Ainon….
Ainon meets every Sunday at 10:30am for our Sunday Service. Please aim to arrive a little early to ensure you can park (if you are driving) and find a seat before the service starts.
We meet at
Ainon Baptist Church
We are off the main road so here’s a map to help you find us.
We do not have a car park, but there is plenty of roadside parking around the village. Please be careful not to obstruct any driveways or park close to junctions.
The number 132 (Stagecoach) bus stops around the corner from the church, it’s a very short walk.
Our nearest train station is Taffs Well, a 20 minute walk.
Once you walk through the door you will receive a very warm welcome from our hospitality team, they will be able to answer any questions you have, find you a seat and introduce you to people.
We always start our Sundays with a time of singing, followed by a short talk on the bible.
We have tea, coffee and biscuits after the service where there is plenty of time to to meet new people and ask more questions.
We love children and young people. During term times we provide Sunday Club and a Youth stream. These both take place during the sermon, so expect your young ones to be invited out during the singing. If they do not feel comfortable going they are more than welcome to stay in the service.
There is no dress code. Please just be yourself and come dressed in your ‘normal’ clothes. You will find us wearing shorts when it’s sunny (or even when its not – you know who you are!). There’s no need to wear your Sunday best.
Not at all! Please feel free to be yourself.
Observe or participate, whatever you feel most comfortable with.
Questions are great, we love them.
Please feel free to contact us.
